PRESS RELEASE – Solid Structures has completed construction on the Lexington County Coroner’s Office relocation to Red Bank Crossing, a major public facility project designed to better support the growing needs of Lexington County and the families served by the Coroner’s Office.

Located at 1072 South Lake Drive in Lexington, the renovated facility provides expanded space for administrative operations, deputy coroner offices, family meeting areas, evidence-related functions, an autopsy lab and specialized coroner operations.

The project represents an important investment in Lexington County’s public service infrastructure. With the relocation, the Coroner’s Office will have a more functional and purpose-built environment to support death investigations, family coordination, and interagency collaboration.

“My staff and I are so excited to move into this beautiful and highly functional new facility,” said Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher. “It will provide much-needed workspace and storage, along with room for future growth as Lexington County continues to grow. The location is ideal and convenient, and with the addition of a new autopsy suite and anthropology suite, our office will be state-of-the-art. We could not be more pleased or more thankful for the facility Solid Structures has transformed into what we consider one of the finest coroner’s offices in the state.”

The Red Bank Crossing project included renovation and upfit work within an existing building, requiring coordination across architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and interior scopes. The project team worked alongside Lexington County, Boomerang Design, and engineering partners to deliver a facility suited for the operational demands of the Coroner’s Office.

For Solid Structures, the project adds to a growing portfolio of government, municipal, public safety, and community-focused facilities across South Carolina.
