West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles and City Council recognized the Cayce-West Columbia Youth Baseball Dixie Boys 15-Under team at the Tuesday, Regular Council Meeting. The team won the 2026 State Championship.

The Cayce-West Columbia DYB 15-and-under won the State Championship Sunday in North Charleston on June 28. With the win the C-WC Boys qualified for the World Series to be played in Louisiana this month.

C-WC had wins over Lexington and North Charleston, among others, to win the State Championship. C-WC plays their home games at Wilson Howard Park, behind Northside Middle School in West Columbia. City of West Columbia photo
