Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green said the clothes on a body found in Lexington, match description of Elena Katherine Moore. She has been missing woman since Friday.

Greene said the body found Wednesday was found around 2:48 p.m. The coroner had not identified the body as of 6:31. He said thanks to the publicity surrounding the case, via media, police received a tip that led to the finding of the body.

Greene also said SLED had been called into investigate the case.

Lexington Police closed Old Cherokee Road is completely closed between North Lake Drive and Berkshire Drive and several law enfordcement agencies were helping search the area.
