Golf carts would be allowed on streets with a speed limit of 35 MPH or less, but they can cross at an intersection of a street with a higher speed limit. Hours to have a golf cart on the street would be 6 a.m. until midnight. Lights would be required for golf carts at night.

Cayce Police Chief Bruce Wade suggested adding the word “secondary” to the type of streets golf carts are allowed on, because some major streets have a 35 MPH speed limit.

Also – During the could comments, Councilwoman Tiffany Aull got emotional as she said she does not like the negative comments she is seeing on on social media.

It’s very embarrassing to the this when you see people on social media chastising other people….It’s “disheartening and embarrassing…This community has got to do better,” she said.
