West Columbia City Administrator Brian Carter presented a preliminary budget for the 2026-27 to city council, Monday at a special called meeting.
The $60.4 million proposed budget contains no increase in taxes and there is no increase in water and sewer and fees.
The General Fund budget is $29.1 million and the Water-Sewer budget a little over $28 million. The Hospitality Tax fund is $3.1 million.
The budget includes a 2% cost-of-living raise for city employees.
