Gervais Street Bridge Dinner name changing to Three Rivers Bridge Dinner on Oct. 25

One of the Midlands’ most beloved community events is entering an exciting new chapter. Formerly known as the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner, the event will return this fall as the Three Rivers Bridge Dinner, title sponsored by Prisma Health, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, with a rain date of November 1, 2026.

The rebrand reflects a renewed focus on the heart of the event’s mission: celebrating and supporting the three rivers that define the Columbia region — the Broad, Saluda, and Congaree. Since its inception in 2015, the Bridge Dinner has brought together thousands of guests for an unforgettable evening of dining, entertainment, and community connection on the iconic Gervais Street Bridge.

“This reimagining is both a celebration of how far the event has come and a meaningful step forward,” said Executive Director Erin Curtis. “The Three Rivers Bridge Dinner better captures our purpose — honoring the rivers that connect us while bringing our community together in a truly special way.”

The 2026 event is proudly supported by title sponsor Prisma Health, whose continued leadership and investment in the Midlands community help make this signature experience possible.

“The Prisma Health Three Rivers Bridge Dinner brings the Midlands together to celebrate the Congaree, Saluda and Broad rivers — natural resources that play a vital role in community health and well-being,” said Jennifer Montgomery, market CEO for Prisma Health. “By supporting physical activity, mental wellness and connection across generations, these rivers help build healthier lifestyles and stronger communities. At Prisma Health, we believe health begins where people live, work and play, and supporting conservation of these treasured landmarks is an investment in a healthier region today and for years to come.”

In addition to its new name, the event now operates under a dedicated nonprofit organization solely committed to the Bridge Dinner and the long-term support of the Midlands river systems. This new structure ensures a sustainable future for the event while deepening its impact year
after year.

Proceeds from the 2026 Three Rivers Bridge Dinner will benefit three local organizations that play a vital role in preserving and enhancing the region’s natural resources and community spaces:

The River Alliance
The West Columbia Beautification Foundation
Canoeing for Kids

These beneficiaries reflect the event’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, access to outdoor recreation, and the continued beautification of the riverfront communities.

Guests can expect the same unforgettable atmosphere the Bridge Dinner has become known for — a one-of-a-kind dining experience set atop the Gervais Street Bridge, featuring local food and beverage partners, live entertainment, and sweeping views of the rivers at sunset.

Additional event details, including ticket information and participating partners, will be announced in the coming months.
