Body Recovered From Lake Murray

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who was recovered from Lake Murray near the Irmo side of the dam at approximately 11 p.m., Saturday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Travers Antonio Berry, 50, of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene after being recovered from Lake Murray by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team.

The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
