A collision on West Main Street (US-1) at Gibson Road in Lexington had all inbound lanes closed, Monday around noon. Police asked drivers to please seek an alternate route around the scene until the road was reopened.

There were several injuries reported by the Lexington Police Department. The injured were transported to the hospital by EMS. The wreck was caused by a driver who failed to yield the right of way, according to the LPD.
