The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will implement a temporary nighttime detour of Interstate 77 southbound in Richland County as part of the construction for the new interchange at exit 26.

There will be two detour periods between mile markers 24 and 27:

• March 2 at 8 p.m. through March 3 at 6 a.m.
• March 9 at 8 p.m. through March 10 at 6 a.m.

As part of this closure, a detour route has been set up. A map of the detour can be found below.
