Due to road conditions and inclement weather from the winter storm, the City of West Columbia City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. There will be no yard trash services on that day. City parks will also remain closed.

Lexington County to operate on a two-hour delay

LEXINGTON, S.C. – All County of Lexington administrative offices will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, due to winter weather and hazardous roads.

The following offices are expected to open at 10 a.m.:

• County libraries
• County judicial facilities
• Lexington County Recreations and Aging Commission offices and activities
• County administration offices
• Lexington County Judicial Center
• Lexington County Magistrate Courts

This schedule is subject to change as county administration continues to track weather forecasts and precipitation levels.

Residents are urged to monitor the County of Lexington website, lex-co.sc.gov, and social media channels for updated information.

Lexington County Library : Due to road conditions, the following locations of Lexington County Library will have a delayed opening of 10 AM on Monday, January 26:

Batesburg-Leesville Branch Library
Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library
Irmo Branch Library
Lexington Main Library

All other locations will open at their regular times
