The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the right westbound lane of Elmwood Avenue for bridge repairs on January 17 and 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The lane is expected to reopen by January 19. These dates may change depending on weather conditions.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
