The South Carolina Green Industry Association will bring together over 120 exhibitors and 16 industry speakers to cover an extensive range of landscape topics during its annual two-day Conference and Trade Show held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 29, and 30.
Landscape industry professionals can choose from a variety of engaging presentations including weed and fire ant control, best practices for tree management, topics on soils and turfgrass, technical classes on lighting and irrigation, and business classes focusing on pricing and leveraging artificial intelligence in the landscape industry. Keynote speaker Dr. Charlie Hall from Texas A&M will open the Conference. Scholarships of $24,000 will also be awarded to collegiate horticulture programs across the state.
Attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for the following certifications: South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, and North Carolina Landscape Contractor.
“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity again for an affordable, one-stop educational conference and trade show. We look forward to having the chance to network and bring our industry together,” said David McLemore, SC Green’s Board President.
