Compton’s restaurant, at 1118 B Ave. in West Columbia, is now open.

The building has been remodeled and has a “Now Open” sign on the front of it. Trucks were parked in front, and diners were seated inside of the restaurant at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Compton’s Kitchen announced it was closed in February of 2024. There were “Coming Soon” signs up at the building in August. Compton’s menu will be much like the menu of Compton’s Kitchen that closed almost two years ago, but new menu items could be added.
