
Sunshine and record warm temperatures help make Christmas ’25 Merry in Lexington County
Near record high temperatures are expected for Christmas Day, according to the US National Weather Service-Columbia.
Temperatures will climb into the mid-to-upper 70s on Dec. 25. The warm pattern will continue and winter won’t make a true return until early next week.
Wednesday was tied for the highest temperature observed on Christmas Eve in Columbia. A similar high temperature is expected for Christmas Day which will once again be near record.
