Thousands line 12th Street for the Cayce-West Columbia Parade of Lights on a pleasant December evening
The Cayce-West Columbia Parade of Lights, sponsored by the Cayce-West Columbia Chamber, made its way across 12th Street, Saturday evening. The parade featured more than 110 entries with 300-plus units. From go-carts and big trucks to elected officials and the Brookland-Cayce Marching Band. Cayce City Council Members: Phil Carter; Alice Rose; Tiffany Aull; and Byron Thomas; and and West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles and Council Members, Joseph Dickey and George Crowe rode their city’s float. The crowd began sitting chairs out and saving spaces for viewing before noon. It was a wonderful night for a parade. Click on photos to enlarge
