East Point Academy Collects Over 500 Pounds of Food for Local Families in Need

East Point Academy (EPA) is proud to announce the success of its recent schoolwide food drive, during which students, families, faculty, and staff from both the Elementary and Middle Campus came together to collect more than 500 pounds of canned goods and nonperishable items for local families in need.

The donated items were delivered directly to Northside Mission, a community organization that operates a food pantry and clothing closet for those facing hardship.

Northside Mission provides essential support to families throughout the community, offering food assistance similar to organizations like Harvest Hope, as well as access to clothing and other necessities.

Mr. Bruce Moseley, Principal of East Point Academy’s Middle Campus, shared the importance of the initiative and the heart behind the school’s involvement. “During these times when we have folks worrying about where their next meal will come from, it is very heartening to see our East Point family living out our PANDA Core Values. This food drive shows our commitment to being nice to others and treating others the way we would like to be treated. I am so proud of our PANDA Family!”

East Point Academy extends its heartfelt thanks to every student, family, and staff member who contributed. The collective effort exemplifies the school’s dedication to service, compassion, and supporting the community in meaningful ways.
