Cayce Police make arrests after finding controlled substances and firearms

On October 23, the Cayce Police Department received a report from a victim who stated they had been assaulted the previous day in the Riverland Park neighborhood.

During the investigation, our Cayce detectives identified individuals believed to be involved in the incident. Evidence gathered led investigators to seek charges against Micala Nicole Baucom, Casey Taylor Price, and Jennifer Marie Owens for their alleged roles in the assault. Investigators also determined that Stephen Allen Rhein was present during the incident and was allegedly armed.

In the early morning hours of November 7, the Cayce Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division—supported by the Street Crimes Unit, the Lexington County NET Team, and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Firearm Detection K9—executed a search warrant at 520 Riverside Lane.

During the search, officers recovered multiple firearms, including handguns and rifles, along with a significant quantity of controlled substances.

Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of the Cayce community. Our neighborhoods are places where families live, work, and play, and we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all.”
