
West Columbia PD’s Food Drive, with Lexington 2, at Walmart, results in several vehicle-loads of groceries
The West Columbia Police Department held a “Stuff a Tahoe” Food Drive, Saturday. A WCPD report said the “West Columbia community did not disappoint. The WCPD thanked all our community members who made the food drive a success.
It was haled ar Walmart on Augusta Road and the WCPD also thanked Walmart for their generous donations. The food drive was held with partners at Lexington School District Two who ran the event side by side with the WCPD.
Sunday night, several Police Tahoes and a truck were filled with groceries that were collected at the food drive. The food was delivered Monday to Lexington School District 2. The school district will distribute these items to students.
