
City of West Columbia’s 21st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting scheduled for Dec. 5
The City of West Columbia’s 21st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 5. It’s at West Columbia City Hall, 200 N. 12th Street.
Traditionally, the Christmas Tree Lighting includes festive music and singing performances and a Christmas message from the mayor, Mrs. Claus, children and clergy.
– Holiday carols
– Lighting of the City’s Christmas tree
– Winners of the elementary school “What Christmas Means to Me” essay contest will be recognized and invited to read their winning essays or poems
– Showcases of student artwork, with the winning piece featured on the event program cover & the top three artworks will be displayed on the Art on State wall in the Interactive Art Park
