John Lastinger defeated Brian Duncan in the SC House District 88 GOP Primary, Tuesday

Lastinger had 1,370 votes (52%) to 1,243 (48%) for Duncan. It was a special election primary to fill the seat vacated by RJ May.

Lastinger will face Democrat Chuck Hightower in the special election on Dec. 23. Hightower ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.
