John Lastinger has advanced to Runoff with Candidate Brian Duncan in the House District 88 Race  The Runoff Election is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Early Voting is: Oct. 29–31.

Press Release – After earning the most votes in the special election for South Carolina House District 88, Pastor John Lastinger will advance to a runoff against Brian Duncan on Tuesday, November 4. 

“I’m deeply grateful for the trust and support so many of you have shown,” said Lastinger. “This campaign has always been about faith, community, and the people – not politics or power. While I’m humbled to have received the most votes, we know the job isn’t finished. What truly matters is finishing strong in the runoff, and with your help, we can do it together.” 

Born and raised in District 88, Lastinger has served as a pastor for 47 years and been married to his wife Robbie for 50 years. Their family has deep roots in Lexington County. His sons are farmers, and his six grandchildren are being raised here as well. 

A proud supporter of President Donald Trump, Lastinger stands for faith, family, freedom, and fiscal responsibility. His priorities include fixing our roads, ensuring fiscal accountability, protecting the unborn, defending the Second Amendment, supporting military and first responders, and strengthening families and helping seniors on fixed incomes.
