Real Estate School of South Carolina Unveils New Logo, Honoring the Legacy of Charlie and Chip Browne
The Real Estate School of South Carolina, founded in 1977 by Col. Charles “Charlie” Browne and later led by his son, Chip Browne, has unveiled its refreshed logo and brand identity.

“As Chip’s widow, it is deeply meaningful to me to continue the work he and his father began,” said Melissa Sprouse Browne, President of the Real Estate School of South Carolina and newly named Broker in Charge of their brokerage and sister firm, South Carolina Realty. “This rebrand honors their legacy while preparing us for the future of real estate education in South Carolina.”
The Real Estate School of South Carolina has taught thousands of real estate professionals over its almost 50-year history. Classes are offered in real estate licensing, property management, broker level licensing, continuing education, appraisal, home inspection and more. They were one of the first schools to offer self-paced online training for South Carolina licensing and continue to provide in-person, virtual and self-paced courses.
A new website and greatly expanded catalog of professional development will be launched publicly in the
