Six Lexington Two schools are celebrating academic excellence and student leadership, recognized as National Beta Schools of Merit.

The National Beta School of Merit award honors a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. Based on membership for the 2024-2025 school year, the honor includes members from all eligible grade levels in their club. Lexington Two’s schools were selected from more than 5,900 schools nationwide.

The Lexington Two schools that received the recognition are:

• Busbee Creative Arts Academy
• Congaree Elementary School
• Fulmer Middle School
• Northside Middle School
• Springdale Elementary School
• Wood Elementary School

The six schools were recognized at the August 21 monthly board meeting.
