Aaro Rental Center has been at 900 Knox-Abbott Drive in Cayce for more than 40 years. And Greg Smith, who manages the store, has been with the company for about as long.

It’s a family owned rental shop that has equipment for your lawn and almost anything a homeowner will need for repair and maintenance.  Aaro Rental Center also carries a large selection of contractors equipment and tools for rental. It offers small engine repair and works on most brands of equipment. 

Cayce City Councilman Tim James is a customer.

“Aaro Rental Center has been a long-time Cayce business that has become to be the “go to spot” for the needs many of us have from time to time, but not on a regular basis,” James said. “It’s the equipment, tools and event supplies that are costly to buy due to our infrequent use, but Aaro provides the perfect rental option. I’m so glad  Aaro is here and happy to assist.”

Greg said the Cayce Community has endeared itself to him. 

“We make our living off of customer service,” he said. “We have friends in the community who have been coming in for years. We have watched some of them grow up. The parents used to come in, now their kids are our customers. That’s how long we’ve been here. People have come to trust us over the years.” 

In addition to developing relationships with its customers, Greg said Aaro Rental Center has a great relationship with surrounding businesses. Vella’s Restaurant and Tavern is across the street from Aaro. Greg said he is a regular customer of Vella’s.

“We have been going to Vella’s for years,” he said. “It’s a great business to have as a neighbor.”

Pat Thompson – Rented a pole saw for tree trimming and their staff were super friendly and even did a favor by delivering the item for me, after it was apparent a 10 ft saw was not going to fit in my tiny car. The person who delivered it was really helpful and took time to ensure I had the tools (I have recently moved to the area and didn’t have any of my stuff yet) needed to put the chain back on. I will be going back in the future.

SKJones -Reiter (Sky) – Got chairs from here for a baby shower they’re lightweight and only $1.50! Wow great price and they’re padded. Black only. They have wedding set up pillars to arbors. Great family run company.
