Final Spring Rhythm on the River concert draws another large crowd, Presented by the C-WC Chamber and City of West Columbia
Going Commando played the final Rhythm on the River spring concert Saturday. West Columbia Police Officer Vince Dwayne also treated the crowd to a performance between sets by Going Commando.
“We had a great crowd, and amazing energy,” said Steve Cohen who has been a volunteer at the concerts since the first one, more than 20 years ago.
The concert series is presented by the Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the City of West Columbia.
All three concerts drew large, enthusiastic crowds and bands with a regional following attracted lots of out-of-town visitors to West Columbia Riverwalk park, where the concerts were held.
The next Rhythm on the River concerts are held in the fall.
