
Local businesses and leaders receive awards at the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber’s “Small Business Month Luncheon”
The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber’s “Small Business Month Luncheon” was held Thursday at the Chamber Headquarters on 12th Street in Cayce.
Award winners included: Community Champion Award : Joni Coleman with Lexington 2 Innovation Center; Chamber Champion Award: BuWa digital and Small Business of the Quarter: Whetzel’s Automotive for their support throughout the entire community mayor Tim Miles was on hand to make that presentation with Chamber officials. Sponsored by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union
Retired Lexington County Council member Debbie Summers received an honorary lifetime membership to the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. It was the first presented in over 20 years.
The luncheon was presented by Dominion Energy and Sponsored by Pyramid Contracting and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
Mayor Cindy Campbell of South Congaree, Mayor Tem Miles of City of West Columbia, and Mayor Elise Partin of the City of Cayce addressed the crowd and lauded the impact of Small Business.
