Units from the Cayce Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1300 Block of Sunnyside Dr., Thursday morning. Firefighters arrived on scene and were able to stabilize the blaze and protect the home from further property damage. One occupant was treated on the scene and transported by Lexington County EMS to the hospital. Units from the County of Lexington, SC Fire Service and the West Columbia Fire Department assisted.
