The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Luther Jackson Truluck, 30, with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – Second Degree, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department asked SLED to investigate the case involving Truluck. He was an employee at Beechwood Middle School in Lexington School District One, according to a communication sent to parents. According to an arrest warrant, a 15-year-old, as part of a forensic interview, alleges Truluck picked the victim up and took the victim to his home where Truluck gave the victim alcoholic beverages before performing oral sex on the teen. According to SLED, the alleged incident took place on or about January 1, 2025.

Truluck has been booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
