Author, Tom Poland, acclaimed local author, professor, and recipient of the Order of The Palmetto, will be signing copies of his book, South Carolina Reflections, both Friday and Saturday from 1 – 4 pm. Poland writes a weekly column about the South, its people, traditions, lifestyle, and culture. Governor Henry McMaster awarded Poland the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina’s highest civilian honor; stating, “His work is exceptional to the state.” Poland’s work appears in books, magazines, journals, and newspapers throughout the South.
