The Zaxbys restaurant at 821 Knox-Abbott Drive in Cayce was demolished in August. Sign on the property read: “Closed for Renovations – Be right Back” and another sign said: “We’re Getting a Makeover.” The plan was to rebuild and reopen the new and updated Zaxbys early 2025.

The new building is now complete. The City of Cayce is reporting the opening date for the new Zaxbys as Monday, Feb. 3. There are signs in front of the new building that say Zaxbys is hiring.
