Irmo Fire District crews assisted the Columbia Fire Department, Tuesday afternoon, after debris caught fire on the roof of an apartment building near Broad River Road. Firefighters stopped the situation from getting out of hand and crews were able to put the flames out quickly. The fire did not extend into the building. (Amir Anthony photos)
