Irmo Fire District crews, along with the Columbia Fire Department, contained a garage fire in the 400 block of Flint Street, Monday. Quick work by firefighters kept the fire contained to the garage. The fire did not spread into the house.

There were no injuries, damage was limited to the contents of the garage, and the cause is under investigation. (IFD photo)
