Two winners split the $10,000 prize of the West Columbia Beautification Foundation’s Raffle – 250 tickets sold for $100 each
The West Columbia Beautification Foundation hosted its first-ever 50/50 Reverse Raffle, last Wednesday, to raise funds to enhance and beautify the City of West Columbia. The drawing was held at Savage Craft Ale Works and hosted by West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles, WCBF Chairwoman Kathy Whetzel, and Cayce-West Columbia Chamber President and CEO Tim James.
There were 250 tickets $100 for the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000 There were 25 other opportunities to win $100.
There were two winners who split the $10,000 Raffle. The winners were BJ Unthank and Michelle Haynes, who got the chance to split the grand prize and each won $5,000. The winners were not at the raffle event, but were called immediately and informed that they had won.
