Ft. Jackson’s Army Band to play at the Lexington 2 Performing Arts Center on Veterans Day

The new Lexington Two Performing Arts Center will host a free concert featuring Fort Jackson’s 282D Army Band to celebrate Veterans Day.

The event, open to the public and all community veterans, begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 11 at the Performing Arts Center, 3205 Platt Springs Road, Springdale. Lexington Two students with JROTC and musical groups will help open the show.

The 282D Army Band concert, expected to last roughly an hour, will include a variety of patriotic and celebratory music.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for the first-come, first-served general admission seating. No tickets are required for entry.
