Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died in a
single-vehicle accident in the 500 block of Chapin Road in the Chapin area of Lexington County
at approximately 2:45 P.M. on Friday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Kaleb Isaiah Parrish, 23, of Chapin was traveling westbound on
Chapin Road when he left the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Parrish, who was
not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to
investigate the incident.
