West Columbia Police Department officers were called to a scene at around 4:20 Sunday involving a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a death. It was in the 200 block of Sunset Boulevard, near Capitol Square.

Both lanes of Sunset were blocked as the incident is being investigated. The WCPD advised drivers to find an alternate route as they pass through the area.
