Drivers traveling down Sunset Boulevard, Thursday afternoon around 5, had to navigate a messy situation. A load of raw poultry was spilled in the westbound lane (toward Lexington) near the entrance to the Quail Hollow subdivision.

Vehicles were driving slowly around the mess. The West Columbia Police Department told drivers to expect some traffic delays and consider an alternate route while crews worked to clean up the site in the 2900 block of Sunset Boulevard. (David Moye photo)
