The Eagles Tribute by Tokyo Joe is Saturday, featuring Greg Bickley and a host of experienced local musicians
A Tribute to the Eagles is coming to the brand new Lexington Two Performing Arts Center on Platt Springs Road in Springdale. Prettier Than Matt will open the show. It’s this Saturday, Aug. 10.
Greg Bickley is the founder of Tokyo Joe, a very popular local band, that plays up and down the East Coast. He put The Eagles Tribute together last year with friends of his from other bands.
Greg will sing the songs by The Eagles Don Henley. He’ll play drums, too. Brian Connor from BC Villanova is singing The Eagles Glen Frey songs and playing guitar.
Todd Nagel from the Root Doctors will sing The Eagles songs sung by Timothy B. Schmidt. He will play bass. Jack Easterling from Hijacked is singing the songs sung by Joe Walsh and playing guitar.
Kevin Smoak, who recently left the Human Resources Department of the Lexington 2 School District, is playing keyboards and singing harmonies. Kevin and Greg were in a band together when they were at Brookland-Cayce High School. Brad McLean, formerly with a group called Break the Silence, is playing guitar.
