Barbeque as a part of the Fourth of July celebration in West Columbia. 

The Fourth of July is the busiest day of the year for Hite’s Barbeque at 240 Dreher Rd, West Columbia. On Thursday, a line of barbeque lovers gathered outside and waited for a chance to get some Hite’s Barbeque. Cars lined the roadside and the parking lot was full at times.

For the July 4th Hite’s will cooked: 750 half-chickens; six whole hogs; 250, 25-pound hams; 400 racks of ribs, including baby back ribs; and 400 gallons of hash.
