A Batesburg man is accused of manufacturing crack and meth after Lexington County narcotics agents found drug-making supplies and substances on his property.

Jarvis Oneil Adams, 37, is charged with trafficking meth, and possession of the supplies to manufacture crack, according to arrest warrants.

“Agents identified Adams as a local drug trafficker,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Their investigation led to a search warrant at his home on June 28.”

Agents found a spoon, whisk, glass containers and a heating source that field-tested positive for cocaine base in a shed, according to Koon. A box containing more than 400 grams of a clear, crystal-like substance consistent with meth was also in the shed, according to an arrest warrant.

“Agents arrested Adams at his home Friday and transported him to the Lexington County Detention Center, where he is still being held,” Koon said.
