The Brookland-Cayce golf team qualified for the 3A State Championship Tournament, Monday. Only eight Lower State teams qualify for the State Championship Tournament. The Bearcats qualified in the Lower State Tournament at the Darlington Country Club.

BC Golf Coach Tom Willard said he was pleased with the performance of his golfers. “Everyone came through,” he said. “It was a team effort.” This is the second year in a row the Bearcats have qualified for the State Championship Tournament.

The championship will be played May 13 and 14, at The Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University in Conway. It will feature eight Lower State teams and eight Upper State teams.
