From West Columbia Public Information Director Anna Huffman – West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles and City Council approved a resolution recognizing Bailee Hutto, a 10-year-old Saluda River Academy for the Arts student. Bailee played an intricate role in the care for her father who passed away from cancer while continuing to make straight A’s, getting chosen for the Junior Beta Club, and volunteering her time and efforts to collect hygienic products for recovering addicts, which she delivered during her winter vacation.

Her West Columbia Police Department SRO Chris Yarborough brought Bailee’s generosity, dedication and hard work to the attention of council.
