Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Whetstone Road in the Swansea area of Lexington County at approximately 11:57 A.M., Thursday.

According to Fisher, Ms. Riccy Noelia Menocal Rosales, 31, of Barnwell, was traveling westbound on Whetstone Road when she traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Ms. Menocal Rosales, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
