Around 8 a.m. Wednesday the Lexington Walmart on South Lake Drive (or Red Bank) announced: “Unfortunately due to a small incident we are temporarily closed. All associates and vendors are fine and we will post as soon as we are reopened. Thank you for your understanding.”

Around 11:20 a.m. Walmart announced on its Facebook page that: “Your favorite Red Bank Walmart is back open !!!! Thank you for your support and Happy Holidays.”

A person who works at the Walmart said there was a fire at the store.
