Lexington 2 schools present holiday events in the Christmas season
Let Lexington Two students help you get into the holiday spirit this season.
Several schools will offer musical performances, open to the community. You also can catch performances at several community tree lightings and other holiday events. Many schools also are holding charity donation drives to benefit those in need during the holidays. Here’s a sampling:

HOLIDAY DRIVES
Several schools are holding holiday drives, and area businesses and residents are welcome to make donations, which will help those in need in the community. Here’s a sampling:
Riverbank Elementary School food drive: Guidance counselors have organized a drive to collect canned goods and nonperishable food items for the Cayce Women’s Club. Donated items will be sent to Cayce City Hall on the day of its annual tree lighting on November 30.
Airport High School toy drive: The school is collecting new toys for ages 2-9, with plans to give them away to community children. Toys will be accepted at Airport through December 6. Questions, email [email protected].
Saluda River Academy for the Arts book drive: The school’s Beta Club is sponsoring a book drive to donate to the Oliver Gospel Mission as a service project through the end of November.
