If you’re a car or truck enthusiast, here’s an event you won’t want to miss.

Pine Ridge Middle School is holding its annual Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 28. Gates open at 9 a.m., with car competitions, music, and food on tap for the day’s activities.

There will be multiple categories that competitors can be awarded for, among them People’s Choice, Best in Show, Best Muscle Car, Best Imported Car, Best Off Road Vehicle, Best Interior, Best Paint, and more. Trophies will be awarded for People’s Choice and Best in Show, while other categories will receive a certificate.

Admission for spectators is free.

The event is a fundraiser for Pine Ridge Middle’s Student Council, which puts together pep rallies, dances, assemblies, and more for the school.

“This event is a great opportunity for the Pine Ridge community and the surrounding areas, as it brings the school’s stakeholders together for a wonderful day and for a great cause,” said Allie Hall, a Pine Ridge Middle teacher and the Student Council adviser. “The community can come together to support extracurricular activities while also having a good time!”
