A unit from the West Columbia Fire Department is on the scene, along with the SC Highway Patrol, of an accident on I-26 near the 109 mile marker, westbound. The incident, involving a tractor-trailer, was reported around 4:15 p.m., Wednesday.
Two lanes of the interstate are shut down and traffic is backed up. Please avoid the area.
