Man pulled gun on woman in Walmart parking lot, say Lexington Police, asks for help to ID him
The Lexington Police Department is asking the community for help to identify an individual involved in an attempted armed robbery this afternoon, accoring to Chief Terrence Green.
On Friday, Oct. 3, at approximately 12:58 p.m., officers were dispatched to the parking lot of Walmart, located at 5556 Sunset Blvd, in the Town of Lexington, in reference to an armed robbery.
According to victim statements, an individual approached a female sitting in her vehicle. He pointed a firearm at her and demanded money before she drove away from the scene.
The individual is described to be a white male in his 50’s with a light-colored beard, scruffy in appearance. The individual is observed, on video footage, to enter a white Nissan sedan with a silver front license plate displaying the USC Gamecock symbol on it.
