Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the person who was shot and killed on Saturday at approximately 7 a.m. at a home in the 2000 Block of Capital View Road located in Lexington County.

Fisher states that Mr. Gervamieon S. Moody, 24 years old, of West Columbia was shot multiple times in the upper body while in bed at the home of a female friend and died at the scene of his injuries. 

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate this incident.
