Tuesday is expected to be oppressively hot and humid in Lexington County, according to the National Weather Service in Columbia.

High temperatures will reach 100 degrees in Lexington County, with dew points in the 70’s.
The NWS has issued a Heat Advisory with heat indexes Tuesday afternoon up to, or over, 110 F. A few storms are possible Tuesday evening but the NWS said it is not enough to stave off the heat.
